Elif Edes Tapan

ADMINISTRATOR, CULINARY WRITER, GOURMET GUIDE, BLOGGER

Studied fine arts / photography in Washington D.C. and Florence. Studied gastronomy at the Cordon Bleu in Paris and achieved Grand Diplôme Cordon Bleu. In 1993, she started with «Elif Gourmet» and continued in «Crema», «Gourmet Shop» and «Catering» fields. She continued her career in Washington D.C. For a while and in 2003, Tapan founded the «Masa», a private party space in Istanbul. In 2009, she launched her culinary boks under the brand name «Mutlu Mutfak» also she is the author of «Yeni Evliler İçin Misafir Sofraları» and «Afrodizyak Yemekler:44 Tabak Aşk». Her new culinary books are still gathered under «Mutlu Mutfak» brand. Tapan organizes workshops, trainings and culinary workshops on gastronomy and executes gastronomy tourism for companies, educational institutions and special groups.

Eataly İstanbul Executive Chef

Bir çok farklı restoranda görev yapan Chinali, 2006-2010 yılları arasında Bruno Barbieri (7 Michelin yıldızlı İtalyan Masterchef) ve Igles Corelli (1 Michelin yıldızlı eğitmen şef) gibi isimlerle çalışarak gastronomi bilgisini ve deneyimini arttırdı. 2007 yılında İtalyan şefler arasında yapılan bir mutfak yarışmasında altın tencere kazandı. Nisan 2015’ten beri Turkmax Gurme kanalında “Şef İtalyan olunca” adlı programı sunmaktadır.

He is the grandson of Agop Şirinoğlu, owner of Şirin Meze Evi in Pangalti, Kurtuluş founded in 1926. He is born into mezze and gourmet tastes. In 2010, he opened Jash İstanbul in Cihangir and continues to offer all the Armenian style mezzes with his grandfather’s recipe. Jash means food, shared food shared tastes in Armenian.
